Please read these terms and conditions carefully and make sure that you understand them, before ordering any Products from our site. By ordering any of our Products, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

The website www.lazyjacks.co.uk is operated by Lazy Jacks Yachtwear Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 04737823, registered office at Pullman House, Battle Road, Heathfield, Newton Abbot, Devon, TQ12 6RY. Our VAT number is GB 812 4099 46.

About you

Our site is only intended for use by people resident in the countries listed in Delivery and Costs below. We do not accept orders from individuals outside those countries.
By placing an order through our site, you warrant that:

  • you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts;
  • you are purchasing the products outside the course of your normal business or trade and not for resale;
  • and you are not resident in, nor accessing our site, from USA or Canada.

Your use of any information or materials on this website is entirely at your own risk, for which we shall not be liable. It shall be your own responsibility to ensure that any products, services or information available through this website meet your specific requirements.

Accepting your order

When you place an order, we will send you an e-mail acknowledging that we have received your order. This does not mean that your order has been accepted, but constitutes an offer to us to buy a Product. All orders received are subject to acceptance by us. We will confirm such acceptance to you by sending you an e-mail that confirms that the Product has been dispatched (Dispatch Confirmation). A contract between us will only be formed when we send you the Dispatch Confirmation. The Contract will relate only to those Products whose dispatch we have confirmed in the Dispatch Confirmation. We will not be obliged to supply any other Products which may have been part of your order until the dispatch of such Products has been confirmed in a separate Dispatch Confirmation.

We do try to ensure that the website is updated as soon as an item goes out of stock. However, occasionally we may run out of stock before we can update the website. If the item you have ordered is not in stock, we will cancel your order and let you know by email.

The prices indicated are based on our standard parcel size, if your order exceeds this there may be an additional charge.

Changing your order

You can amend your order at any time up to the checkout as follows:
Click on the Shopping Bag at the top of the page.
To cancel a selected item, click on “Remove” box next to item.
To change the quantity of an item, enter the required quantity, and then click ‘Update Basket’. If you have received an e-mail from us acknowledging receipt of your order but you have not received a Dispatch Confirmation (an email confirming dispatch), you can change or cancel your order by e-mailing us at websales@lazyjacks.co.uk or by telephoning us on +44 (0) 1626 832632.

Returns 
 

We hope that you will be delighted with your purchase, but if there is a problem we are happy to arrange a refund. You just need to return your purchase within 28 days of receipt of goods with proof of purchase, making sure it's unused and good as new in its original packaging with all info tags still attached. To return an item, simply create a returns label using the link http://www.royalmail.com/track-my-return/create/547 then print your label, attatch to the parcel and take to your local Post Office. Be sure to collect a proof of postage from the counter. If for any reason you are unable to print a returns label please notify us by emailing us at websales@lazyjacks.co.uk; or by telephoning us on +44 (0) 1626 832632 and we will arrange to send you a returns label. Products are returned at your own risk and we will not be held liable for lost or damaged parcels.


We will only accept and refund returns purchased directly from our website https://www.lazyjacks.co.uk. Products purchased from our stockists websites or shops must be returned directly to them. Please check the stockists returns policy for further information. 

If you require a different size / colour garment or alternative item, please re-order through our website to ensure that your alternative item is in stock.

We will refund the order or relevant part of it (including the original delivery charge where relevant to you if the whole order is returned within 7 working days from the day after the day of receipt of the products for UK customers only) as soon as possible and in any case within 30 days of cancellation.

If you cancel your order and we do not receive the item back from you, we may arrange to collect the item from you at your cost.

If you return a Product to us because you consider it to be faulty, we will examine the returned Product and will notify you of your refund via e-mail within a reasonable period of time. We will usually process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any case, within 30 days of the day we confirmed to you via e-mail that you were entitled to a refund. We will refund the price of a defective Product in full, plus any applicable delivery charges. and any reasonable costs you incur in returning the item to us.

We will usually refund any money received from you using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase. The above does not affect your statutory rights, including your rights under the UK Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, in which you have the right to cancel your order within 7 working days, beginning on the day after you received the Products.

If you have bought a Lazy Jacks item from an independent stockist, please return it to them directly as this is where your buying contract lies. This is also the case if you have lost your proof or purchase, you must deal with the original retailer you purchased the item from. We will therefore only accept returns where an item is purchased directly from Lazy Jacks. 

Orders placed on the Lazy Jacks website must be returned to the head office address and not to a Lazy Jacks shop. 

Christmas Delivery

In order to ensure you receive your Christmas gifts in time please order by our Royal Mail cut off dates
Standard UK Delivery - order by 20th December 
Express UK Delivery - order by 21st December 

Over Christmas we are extending our returns policy for items purchased between 1 November and 31 December and gifts purchased during this period can be exchanged or refunded up to 31 January 2016. Our other returns terms and conditions still apply..
Please note our office will be closed from Dec 22nd 2017 until 2nd January 2018. Any orders placed between this time along with returns exchanges and queries will be dealt with on return from the Christmas period. 

Conformity of the Products

We warrant to you that any Product purchased from us through our site will, on delivery, conform in all material respects with its description, be of satisfactory quality, and be reasonably fit for all the purposes for which products of that kind are commonly supplied.
Every care has been taken to ensure that the descriptions and specifications of our products on this web site are correct. However, slight variations in the colour and sizing of actual goods can occur.

Price and payment

The price of the Products and our delivery charges will be as quoted on our site from time to time, except in cases of obvious error.

If you are ordering from the U.K or European Union all prices are shown in sterling and include 20% VAT on adult’s clothing and 0% VAT on children’s clothing and gift vouchers. If you are ordering from outside the UK and European Union or from the Channel Islands, all prices are shown in sterling and exclude VAT.

Product prices and delivery charges are liable to change at any time, but changes will not affect orders where we have already sent you a Dispatch Confirmation.

If you are ordering from outside the UK or European Union, your order will be supplied VAT free and a copy of your ex VAT receipt will be despatched with your goods. Local import duties and taxes may be payable when the delivery reaches the specified destination. You will be responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. Please contact your local customs office for further information before placing your order. Please also note that you must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the country for which the products are destined.

Despite our best efforts, items in our online shop may occasionally be mispriced. We verify prices as part of our despatch procedures and if an item’s correct price is lower than the price shown online, we will charge you the lower amount and send you the item. If the item’s correct price is higher than the price shown online, we will contact you for instructions before despatch. We cannot confirm the price until you order.

Promotional Codes

Only one promotional code can be used per order. We reserve the right to remove any offer at any time

Payment

Our website uses the SAGEpay payment gateway. Payment for all Products must be by credit or debit card or by PayPal. We accept payment with Visa or MasterCard credit cards, as well as Maestro, Visa Electron and Visa Debit cards. You can only see our price list in sterling, but we accept card payments from anywhere in the world.

We always welcome feedback from our customers and are continually looking at ways to improve our service. Privacy

Information you provide will remain private and be stored on our database. However, information may be used by Lazy Jacks to improve your shopping experience, enabling us to handle your order, deliver products, process payments and alert you to promotional offers. We may store information about you using cookies which are files sent by us to your computer or other access device which we can access when you visit our site at some point in the future. The cookies we use enable us to save your bag for later, track the opening of our email, track the type device used to shop, etc.

Gift Card Terms & Conditions (not available online)

1. Lazy Jacks gift cards are redeemable in full or part payment at Lazy Jacks stores only. At the current time they are not valid for purchases from www.lazyjacks.co.uk or for mail order purchases.
2. Lazy Jacks gift cards may not be exchanged for cash or vouchers.
3. Lazy Jacks gift cards can be purchased in multiples of £5 from a minimum purchase of £10. The maximum gift card limit is £500.
4. No change or refund will be given but any remaining balance may be applied to future purchases.
5. The gift card will expire 24 months after issue and any remaining balance will be deducted.
6. Lazy Jacks is not liable for giftcards are lost, stolen, damaged or defaced.
7. The funds on a gift card are not covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme. In the unlikely event of the issuer of this product becoming insolvent some funds on the card may not be available to spend.
8. Lazy Jacks reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions from time to time where it reasonably considers it necessary to do so.
9. Gift cards remains the property of Lazy Jacks.
10. By purchasing and/or redeeming a Lazy Jacks guft card you accept and agree to these terms and conditions.
